Background

Born in the Midwest but raised in Virginia, I’ve grown to love every corner of this beautiful state — from the coastal plains and the wetlands of the Chesapeake Bay to the lush hardwood forests of Central Virginia and, most especially, the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains. As long as I can remember, I’ve been an outdoorsy gal.

Passion for the Outdoors & Conservation

I currently reside on the coast, but you’re far more likely to find me hiking a mountain trail. I didn’t grow up hunting — no one in my immediate family did. It wasn’t until well into adulthood that I began learning to hunt. What started as another way to immerse myself in the outdoors and deepen my appreciation for conservation quickly sparked a whole new passion of pursuing whitetail deer during muzzleloader or saddle hunting with my compound bow. This new found Passion has also drove me to help other women to join the tradition of hunting by joining and becoming the Vice President of the Virginia Chapter of the American Daughters of Conservation

As a member of the Pro-Staff team, I’m committed to sharing my authentic journey as an adult-onset hunter navigating the outdoor world. I’m confident that the Rocktown Outdoors brand will continue helping me grow in my skills as an outdoorswoman and a dedicated steward of the land.
