Meet Bob – Rocktown Outdoors Owner & 2 Guys in the Outdoors Co-Host

Born and raised in the Midwest, Bob developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a lifelong passion for hunting. With experience in a variety of species, Bob has honed skills in both traditional and modern hunting methods, including archery and firearms.

Traditional Archery Journey

Notably, Bob transitioned from compound to traditional archery, which inspired a journey into crafting and hunting with selfbows—demonstrating a commitment to mastering and preserving classic techniques.

Education & Community

After raising two sons and building a career, Bob chose to give back by becoming a Hunters Education instructor. This commitment to education led to the creation of the "2 Guys in the Outdoors" YouTube channel, where Bob and Jason share practical knowledge with novice hunters. Through Rocktown Outdoors, Bob provides quality products and genuine feedback to the hunting community.
